Hi, I’m Rajat Mitra – a Toronto-based photographer with roots in Kolkata, India. My journey behind the lens began with a borrowed point-and-shoot and a curiosity that quickly turned into a lifelong passion. From the electric energy of music festivals to intimate wedding stories and now stylized editorials, I have always been drawn to emotion, attention to detail, and narrative.

After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Media Science and spending seven years capturing weddings all across India, I made the leap to Toronto to study photography at Humber College. Now, as I graduate, I find myself deeply immersed in the world of editorials, with a growing love for commercial and product photography.

My work is driven by curiosity, emotion, and a desire to create images that feel honest, bold, and true to my style. Let’s create something meaningful together.
